Andy Taylor P.E.

Principal

Andy has over 20 years of experience in facilities, manufacturing, and utility engineering. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Idaho and his Master of Science in Manufacturing Systems Engineering from Stanford University. He has been a registered professional electrical engineer since 1994. 



Taylor began his career at Idaho Power before accepting a consulting electrical engineering position for Quasar Engineering in Belmont and ABB Impell in San Ramon. CA. Following ABB, Andy took a position at Intel in facilities and manufacturing, chairing the virtual factory joint engineering team (JET) for many years. He is a seasoned professional skilled in power systems, facilities management, and manufacturing systems.

Scott McGaugh

Principal

Scott started his electrical industry career more than 27 years ago at a family-owned electrical contractor in Dallas, TX. Attending Texas Tech University, Scott earned a Bachelors in Business Communications and joined Westinghouse Cutler Hammer as an inside project manager and Sales Engineer. before transitioning to Eaton. Scott joined Elliott Electric Supply and directed to grow joint market share for Elliott and Eaton in the Dallas area. He grew the market by $10-15 million in 5 years, while obtaining an MBA from the University of Texas Arlington.



Moving to WESCO Distribution, Scott grew the Denver area business by 15 million in 3 years. McGaugh ventured west to Seattle, WA, to North Coast Electric (NCE), where he was awarded the Diamond Club award for top account managers 12 of 14 years based on average annual sales of 25 million. Scott followed his long-time dream of getting back into the electrical contracting business and became a partner at APT.

Chris Finley

Principal

Chris adds a new level of organization and efficiency to APT by streamlining and automating processes. Chris is known for providing the best-in-class customer service to End-Users and Electrical Contractors.



During his 16 years at Schneider Electric, Chris held various Sales and Leadership positions, allowing him to gain a deep understanding of customer needs regarding sustainability and energy-saving efforts utilizing Power Monitoring and Control Systems.

Reed Todd

Principal

Reed joins APT tasked with driving the company’s overall strategy, business development, and new market expansion. Prior to joining APT, Reed built a distinguished career at the global energy management company Schneider Electric.



Throughout his career at Schneider, Reed held various engineering, manufacturing, and sales leadership positions. During his tenure, Reed rebuilt the power monitoring and controls sales organization, growing the business through go-to-market changes and several successful product integrations.
