Cost Allocation

Demand Management - NASA Ames Research Center recently implemented an advanced metering systems with intelligent software that allows them to avoid exceeding demand limits while operating huge wind tunnel loads.  Some of these loads can get up to 100MWs.  They estimate that the first year of operation reduced their demand costs by close to $1,000,000.00.  APT provides the hardware, software and ongoing technical support on this exciting project.  The attached Ames newsletter describes the system on page 12.    NASA APMS
