Enterprise Energy Management - The County of Santa Clara has taken an aggressive approach to managing energy cost and in conjunction is looking for ways to improve their maintenance and customer responsiveness.  To this end APT has been working with the county for the past 3 years and have designed a countywide electrical power monitoring system.  The new system will provide comprehensive tracking of peak power demand, total energy consumption, and power quality for numerous facilities throughout the County. CMC (a large contracting firm in Northern California) will be installing seventy-three new Power Measurements ION-8400 & ION-8500 power meters at thirty-four County facilities including courthouses, parking garages, and correctional facilities.  APT worked with the county to develop the concept, select the equipment and is responsible system commissioning and the development of custom reports for the different county users.
